I received my Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia. My research focus was the intersection of machine learning and computer vision. My supervisors were Jim Little and Mark Schmidt. I finished my M.Sc. in computer vision at UBC under the supervision of Jim Little. Before that, I received my B.Sc. degree with honours in software engineering from AUT.
With a Ph.D. in machine learning, a deep understanding of software/hardware systems, and the experience of building global-scale SaaS business from scratch, I can provide consultation to you at every single step of the way, from ideation and initial viability assessments, data collection planning, experimentation design, to cost-effective fault-tolerant software architecture design, and cloud (or in-house) deploy and execution and maintenance.
